Virginia Tech Lacrosse Heads West for Spring Break Showdowns
Blacksburg, VA – The Virginia Tech men’s lacrosse program is set to kick off its spring break with a highly anticipated West Coast road trip, as both the Division I and Division II squads travel to California for critical early-season matchups.
The Division I Hokies will face off against two formidable opponents in Chapman University and San Diego State University. Chapman, a perennial MCLA powerhouse, will provide a strong test for Virginia Tech, while the matchup against #10 San Diego State offers another opportunity for the Hokies to prove themselves on the national stage.
Meanwhile, the Division II team will take on the University of San Diego and the University of California, San Diego. Both games present key opportunities for the Hokies to establish themselves as contenders in the DII landscape and build momentum early in the season.
“This trip is a great opportunity for both of our teams to challenge themselves against top competition,” said Panchito Ojeda, head coach of Virginia Tech Lacrosse. “We’re excited to represent Hokie Nation on the West Coast and take on some high-quality opponents.”
