Division II Welcomes Jack Gradle to Coaching Staff

by Panchito Ojeda

Blacksburg, VA – Feb 11 – The Virginia Tech Division II Men’s Lacrosse program is proud to announce the addition of Jack Gradle to the coaching staff. A recent graduate of Virginia Tech’s Class of 2024 and a former standout player for the Hokies, Gradle returns to the program to bring his knowledge, leadership, and passion for the game to the next generation of players.

Gradle, who played a key role for the Hokies during his collegiate career, brings firsthand experience with the team’s culture and competitive spirit. His deep understanding of the program, combined with his dedication to player development, makes him a valuable asset to the coaching staff as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

“We are thrilled to have Jack back with us in a coaching role,” said Panchito Ojeda. “His experience as a player, his work ethic, and his commitment to the team will have an immediate impact. He knows what it takes to compete at a high level and will be instrumental in helping our players grow both on and off the field.”

Gradle’s transition from player to coach will help bridge the gap between the team’s veteran leadership and its up-and-coming talent. His focus will be on skill development, game strategy, and fostering the competitive edge that defines Virginia Tech Lacrosse.

“I’m honored to be back with the Hokies in a new role,” said Gradle. “This program has meant so much to me as a player, and I’m excited to give back by helping the team continue to grow and compete at the highest level.”

The Hokies are gearing up for another exciting season, and with the addition of Gradle to the coaching staff, the team is positioned to build on its success and further strengthen its competitive presence in the league.
